The DuPont Group is a Real Estate Investment Company which functions as both a traditional real estate broker for current and past residential clients as well as institutions such as family offices, portfolio managers and pension funds. Over the course of working with thousands of buyers and sellers we’ve created the most actionable and informative real estate valuation protocol in existence called ‘HomeSmart’ which includes the Home Value Ratio (HVR- most important thing to know about ANY home) and Relative Utility Index (RUI- like a credit score for homes). We believe that once these and other metrics are utilized, it will usher in a new age in Global Real Estate Finance and a PropTech/FinTech revolution which will benefit ALL price ranges of our housing stock.

Dave DuPont, Broker

Dave is the Managing Broker and founder of The DuPont Group a Real Estate Investment Company. Over the course of working with thousands of buyers and sellers Dave created the most actionable and informative real estate valuation protocol in existence called ‘HomeSmart’ which includes the Home Value Ratio (HVR- most important thing to know about ANY home) and Relative Utility Index (RUI- like a credit score for homes). David DuPont leads a team of agents, vendors and contractors and has personally closed more than 150 homes and ~$300m in home sales.

Dave is a Certified Financial Planner, California Real Estate Broker avid skier and kitesurfer; has lived in Mill Valley for 19 years and is a father to two wonderful, thoughtful teenagers.

Kathy Green, Transactions

For the past 17 years, Kathy has built a business supporting real estate brokers and agents as a transaction coordinator: reviewing and confirming documentation to be in compliance with State, local, broker and contractual requirements.  This involves constant updating with State, local and contract regulations as they relate to real estate transactions, as well as the changing requirements for disclosures and contractual obligations. Kathy helps to keep the parties’ compliance with the terms and deadlines of the agreements, communicating with the title and escrow officers, real estate agents and staff.  Kathy prepares a final digital file for brokers to fulfill their documentation requirements.

From 1992 to 2004, Kathy worked as a paralegal, specializing in complex civil litigation with an emphasis on real estate, trusts and intellectual property. This involved all stages of preparing Federal and State cases for trial: from evidence gathering and fact synthesis, to data management, legal research and writing, procedural timeline and calendaring, witness preparation, jury instructions and trial presentations with all types of media; and then finalizing cases on completion.

Kathy and her family live in Larkspur, California, and spend time in North Lake Tahoe.  Kathy is on the board of a charitable foundation, The Commons Foundation, whose goal is to fund, build and sustain a modern library and community gathering place in Larkspur.  Kathy’s interests are travel cooking, outdoor sports and music.
